Barb Cummings
has
been
the
Administrator
of
CRCS
since
its
opening
in
2000.
She
is
known
as
“Pastor
Barb”
because
of
her
seven
years
as
Children’s
Pastor
at
CrossRoads
Nazarene
Church.
Barb
has
a
Master’s
Degree
in
Elementary
Administration
and
is
an
ordained
deacon
in
the
Church
of
the
Nazarene.
Prior
to
being
the
administrator
at
CRCS
and
Children’s
Pastor
at
CrossRoads,
Barb
was
a
teacher
and
administrator
in
the
public
school
system
for
33
years.
Barb
enjoys
children,
cats,
scrap booking,
card
making,
piano,
and
singing,
but
her
greatest
passion
is
reaching the hearts of kids for Jesus. |

Cyndi Connite - Office Manager
Cyndi Connite joined the CrossRoads Community School staff in February 2001. She has over 25 years experience in various administrative settings. Cyndi has been a member of CrossRoads Nazarene Church for 20 years where she has been involved in different ministries. She has an A.A. Degree in Organizational Management from Mesa Community College.
Cyndi is married and has three children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, scrap booking, family history, interior decorating, gardening, and traveling. |

Shelberg

schools.
She
has
a
Bachelor's
degree
in
Elementary
Education
from
ASU.
Marcia
is
married
and
has
two
sons.
She
enjoys cooking,
gardening,
camping,
and
reading.

Lisa Alexander - First Grade
Lisa joined CrossRoads Community School in August of 2007 after moving here from Dayton, Ohio.
She is originally from Tampa, Florida and graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Education. She and her husband have two girls and enjoy family activities such as camping and swimming. Lisa also enjoys running and scrap booking. |

Mary Goodwin - Second Grade
Mary Goodwin joined the CrossRoads Community School staff in August 2005. She earned a B.A. from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and has a Master’s Equivalent in Special Education/Education.
Mary taught Special Education for 8 years in Mesa Public Schools and then stayed home with her children for several years before serving as Children’s Pastor at CrossRoads Nazarene Church. She has two children, Sarah and Ben, who both graduated from CRCS. Sarah now attends ASU and Ben attends Corona del Sol High School.
Mary and her husband Mike love taking family trips to the beach in San Diego, as well as camping and skiing with their kids. |

Tamra Mushrush - Third Grade
Tamra Mushrush joined the CrossRoads Community School staff in August 2004. She has a Bachelor of Science from Winthrop College in South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
Tamra is devoted to helping children develop classroom skills as well as learning to love Jesus. Tamra and her husband, Terry, enjoy gardening and visiting family members who live in various states across the country. |

Michaela Krull - Fourth Grade
Michaela joined the CrossRoads Community School Staff in August of 2007. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA.
She is currently working toward adding an endorsement to teach art to her Arizona State Teaching Certificate. Michaela taught first and second grades for seven years in Higley Public Schools and also at Tempe Christian School.
She and her husband Gary have two small children, Noah and Mylie. They love spending time together as a family bike riding, going to the zoo, and traveling to Michigan to visit family. |

Cherrie Grout - Homeroom | Fifth Grade | Jr High Teacher | 5th-8th Art
Cherrie Grout joined the CRCS staff in July 2006. She has a BS in Computer Information Systems (ASU) and a MA in Elementary Education (ASU). She has been married to her husband Rod for 28 years and they have three children.
She enjoys doing anything artistic, especially painting and quilting. She actively practices Karate and recently achieved the rank of Blue Belt. Her most recent challenge was to learn Scuba!

Tatiana Hensley - Sixth Grade
Tatiana Hensley joined the CrossRoads Community School staff in August 2003. Tatiana is from Londrina, Brazil. She has a Bachelor Degree from Londrina State University in English/Portuguese Grammar and Literature. She will graduate from ASU in May 2006, earning a Bachelor Degree in Journalism.
Tatiana taught English in Brazil for 10 years up to college level. She is married to Paul Hensley and they do not have children yet. Tatiana loves to spend time with her family, to travel, and to meet new friends.

Margie Glenn - Spanish Teacher
Grades: First -Fourth Grades
Margie joined the Crossroads staff in August 2006. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from A.S.U. She also has a reading endorsement and is C.L.I.P. trained. She taught for nine years in the Tempe School District.
Margie enjoys being a stay at home mom and taking care of her family. She has three children Alex (14), Kaylee (11) and David (6). One of Margie's greatest joys is teaching children’s ministry at her church. She enjoys swimming, biking, running, hiking and skiing with her family. |

Lance McClure - Physical Education Coach
Lance McClure joined CRCS as P.E. Coach in August 2004. Coach McClure retired in 2003 from public school where he taught 6th grade for 30 years.
For the past two years he has coached “In His Courts” (a summer basketball camp) here at CrossRoads Nazarene Church. He is married and has three children. |

Amanda Johnson - Volunteer Coordinator
Amanda joined the CrossRoads family in 2000 when her daughters began attending the school in Kindergarten and third grade.
Her love for volunteering and her commitment to the CRCS family service program are combined in her support staff position as Volunteer Coordinator. Amanda and her husband Kurt have lived in Chandler since 1990. They have two daughters, Jasmine and Heidi |

Kyle Poulin - Home Room Teacher | Seventh Grade | Spanish Teacher - Junior High
Kyle Poulin joined the CrossRoads family in 2000, when her son began attending the school in 3rd grade. In 2002, Kyle began teaching Spanish as a volunteer and has assisted in bringing a full Spanish curriculum to the school.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Southern Connecticut State College and was a certified English As A Second Language teacher. Kyle is married and has two children.

Kim Perkins - Home Room Teacher | Eighth Grade | Head of Junior High Department
Kimberly Perkins joined the CrossRoads Community School staff in August 2004 after teaching 5th through 8th grade in the public schools for 12 years. Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Mexico.
Kim and her husband Rex, moved to Arizona from New Mexico in 1999 and have three sons, Jayden, Benjamin, and Trey and a daughter, Sage. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with the family, especially playing in the pool, and decorating/organizing the house.

Amy Mescher is joining the CrossRoads middle school team this year to teach 7th grade Math. Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in Chemistry with a Math/Physics minor. She lives in Chandler with her husband and two children. |
