CRCS students are encouraged to participate in a Community Service Project each semester.  On Monday, December 2^nd, 2009, several CRCS students and family members visited the Westchester Care Center nursing home to bring cheer, sing carols, give gifts and pray for the residents there.  Several of the students also presented special music on the piano and the harp.  This is just one example of what kinds of opportunities families have on Home Based Learning (HBL) school days.   This community service project was provided by Jan Ryan (a former CRCS teacher) and the “Hope Ministry Team” who regularly ministers to the Westchester Campus of Care located in Tempe, AZ.  For future community service opportunities, please contact the CrossRoads Community School office at (480) 722-1445 or via email at info@crcsonline.com
