"It is our commitment to partner with families to equip their children – spiritually, academically, physically, and
emotionally – so that they may impact their community and world for Christ."
CrossRoads Community School (CRCS) utilizes a unique combination of classroom instruction and home instruction. Students are taught in the classroom on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. CRCS teachers typically introduce new concepts on these days. Students then take work home for additional reinforcement and learning the other two days of each week. A parent is expected to instruct/oversee the work done on the home-based learning days.
CRCS is a ministry of CrossRoads Nazarene Church, in Chandler, Arizona. The school functions with a board that is subject to the CrossRoads Nazarene Church board. The CRCS board members are: Barb Cummings, Ed Dean, Jose Fernandez, Paul Schanaker, Jana Starner, Dan Young, and Bill Martin. Barb Cummings is the school administrator and is a member of the CrossRoads Church pastoral staff. The first point of contact for school-related questions is the CRCS Office.

CRCS strives to be a place where character development receives as much attention as intellectual development. Respect, honor, and preciousness of others are core values being emphasized. Accordingly, a code of conduct will be established in the Student Handbook for all involved with the school – students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
For example:
Character Trait – Example
Responsibility - Come to class prepared and arrive on time
Consideration - Be courteous to others in attitude, words, and actions
Respect - Respect for authority, age, peers, property, and nature
Self-Control - Contribute to an orderly classroom
Obedience - Obey school authorities and rules
